etymology: re- (again, to perform an action in an opposite way) and analog (from Greek analogon) and -ise (verbalisation).

再類比化並不是對於生存在數位化世界的一種反抗，而毋寧說是一種補充（suppliment）。在拍攝數位照片的同時，也帶著傳統的相機。不聽iPod而聽黑膠唱片。不寫e-mail、不傳instant message、不寫SMS，而寫明信片、書信、短箋以表達思念，寄存證信函以表達抗議或威脅。不spam，不發動灌爆信箱運動，而採取in-your-face strategy，直接到人家家門口指指點點。不靠網路交友，而講求身體感的（visceral）交往：面對面、喝下午茶或咖啡、花一整個晚上坐在餐桌旁聊天，還有擁抱。

To reanalogise is not to rebel against the digitising world. It is rather a suppliment to our contemporary modus vivdendi. Bring along your film camera while you shoot digital ones. Instead of iPod, listen to vinyl turntables. Write no e-mail, send no instant message, use no SMS. Instead, try to write postcards, letters or les petits billets to show your affection or to tell the people you care that you miss them! Do not spam. Don’t DDoS the mailbox of someone you don’t like. Instead, practice the in-your-face strategy. Wait in front of their doors. Make no more friends online. Instead, every human interaction should be visceral: vis-à-vis, tête-à-tête. Life is long enough (or, d’après e. e. cummings: “just so long and long enough”) to have afternoon teas or coffee parties or simply spend a whole evening sitting at the dinner table to talk. Oh, and the hugs.
